The PitchDeck an Entrepreneurial Support Center for Students enrolled at Ivy Tech Community College
The PitchDeck was designed specifically for the students in the Business and Entrepreneurship program at Ivy Tech Community College. The goal is to help under-resourced entrepreneurs achieve long-term success and sustainability, by providing on-campus access to the identified business “barrier” services and support.
The PitchDeck will provide the students of Ivy Tech Community College with services to assist those who are interested in business ownership, as a form of self-employment upon graduation. As an on-campus incubator space, students will have access to business development resources via strategic partnerships, workshops and market expertise; which will allow them to develop an idea that is feasible and sustainable, beyond the 3-5 year rate of failure. This aligns with the mission of PitchFeast Corporation to provide all entrepreneurs with an equal opportunity.
As part of our goal to connect students with area local business development resources, wehave developed partnerships with local and state business development agencies and organizations. Ivy Tech Community College will serve as our primary partner as they will provide the space, resources, workshops, and credit classes to Ivy Tech students utilizing the PitchDeck and its services.
All services will be provided to current Ivy Tech students at no cost. Verification of student status will be completed via a valid student ID. Note: Students do not have to be enrolled as a Business/Entrepreneurship Major to receive services; however, enrollees who are applying for access to the PitchDeck resources will be required to:
Complete an “Is Entrepreneurship For Me” assessment
Possess a real desire to become self-employed or be a small business owner
Complete an application for services
Sign an agreement of commitment to completing the required tasks set forth by the program.
